Arriving at your new home
Before you buy your plane ticket, please understand that arrivals take place in the afternoon, from 12:30 to 16:30. Please bring a photo ID.
Getting here from San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
Plan for about 1 hour travel time from SFO to our location. If you are arriving on an international flight and need to clear customs, add 30 minutes.
Uber or Lyft: approximately $60-90, 30-45 minutes
After collecting your luggage, follow airport signs for "Uber" and "Lyft." The signage is clear now! For domestic terminals, take the elevator or escalator up to Mezzanine Level 3 and walk across one of the sky bridges (at zones B, D, or F) to Level 5 of the parking garage. For international arrivals, go up one level to Departures and exit to the outer curb at Zones 15-17. Your app will guide you to your driver's zone.
BART approximately $11-12, 50-60 minutes
The most affordable option, but not ideal with heavy luggage. Take the free AirTrain from your terminal to the BART station, then board a Richmond-bound train. Note: depending on the time of day, you may need to transfer at MacArthur station and carry your luggage between platforms.
Taxi approximately $85+
Available at designated taxi stands outside each terminal.
Getting here from Oakland International Airport (OAK)
OAK is much easier if you're taking BART: no transfer required! Take the Oakland Airport Connector to Coliseum BART station, then board a Richmond-bound train to Ashby station. We are 3.5 blocks from Ashby BART.
BART from OAK approximately $10, 30-40 minutes.
